Community Spotlight: Meet Logan Bednarz – A Young Hooping Enthusiast!
We are thrilled to introduce Logan Bednarz, an inspiring 8-year-old hooper from Lewis Center, Ohio. A second grader at St. Mary School in German Village, Logan’s passion for hooping began at the tender age of two.

It all started when Logan’s mother introduced him to the art of waist hooping through a YouTube video featuring the amazing Rachael Lust. Instantly captivated by her Groove video, Logan dedicated himself to mastering the hoop with dreams of one day meeting his idol. That dream came true when Rachael performed at his school while he was in kindergarten—and Logan had the unforgettable opportunity to hoop alongside her on stage!

For Logan, hooping is more than a hobby. It serves as a calming activity that helps him refocus, particularly important as he navigates life as a neurodiverse individual.

Whenever he feels dysregulated, hooping acts like a reset button, helping him access his thinking brain and focus better.

Rachael Lust remains Logan’s biggest inspiration, and he knows all her routines and music by heart. His favorite moves include the breaks and the one-arm helicopter. Logan aspires to be Hooper of the Year, just like his role model, Rachael, was in 2014.

We celebrate Logan’s journey and passion for hooping. Thank you for sharing your vibrant story with us, Logan!

Keep spinning those dreams into reality—we are cheering you on!
